Mujuan Lin has been focused on domestic and cross-border dispute resolution cases since she began her practice. Mujuan has represented many well-known state-owned enterprises, top private companies and multinational corporations in many complex commercial cases before Chinese courts, well-known domestic arbitration institutions such as CIETAC, SHIAC, SCIA etc., and well-known international arbitration centers such as ICC, HKIAC, SIAC. In addition to acting in domestic dispute cases and international arbitration cases, Mujuan continues to assist Chinese clients in foreign litigation cases. • Represented a UAE company and its Egyptian subsidiaries for disputes with a PRC auto manufacturing company during the ICC arbitration proceeding and the follow-up recognition and enforcement court proceedings
• Provided PRC law related legal services for a UAE company and its Egyptian subsidiaries during Hong Kong court proceeding regarding revocation of partial award
• Represented a PRC environmental company and its funding partners against a foreign fund company during following proceedings: (1) HKIAC arbitration proceeding in relation to dispute arising under a shares transfer framework agreement ; (2) PRC court proceeding regarding the validity of arbitration agreement
• Represented a large-scale PRC company for investment disputes against a famous foreign company during the HKIAC arbitraton proceeding
• Represented a U.S. company against a listing PRC company during recognition of foreign arbitration award proceeding
• Represented a Hong Kong company (in liquidation) against its supplier for dispute arising from a goods supply agreement during SCIA arbitration proceeding
• Represented U.S. clients against a HK company for tort disputs before the PRC court
• Provided legal services for a PRC company against a foreign company and a foreign bank for disputes in relation to bank guarantee before PRC court
• Represented several PRC financial institutions during following proceedings: (i) CIETAC arbitration proceedings for disputes arising from financing instruments agreements; (2) PRC court proceedings relating to validity of arbitration agreements
